Welcome!
We had the fabulous experience of visiting the Daffodil Field in March 2024. It was around the second week of March. The weather was bright sunny and lovely!! If you ever had the chance of experiencing Seattle weather, you know what I mean, right?!!
We went to the La Conner Daffodil Festival. It looked like heaven, a heaven shining in bright yellow!! There were daffodil flowers of various types all over the area. From Seattle downtown, it can take around 1-1.5 hours to go there (depends on traffic). We roamed around the area for around 1 hour. There is also a lovely gift shop to buy souvenir. If you are in Seattle/ nearby area, do not miss the chance of going there!
From the La Conner daffodil field, we went to the Deception Pass State Park. A Discover pass is need to access the park ($10 for the day or annual pass). We wandered there for around 1 hour-experienced the beach in the setting sun. The view from the bridge was really majestic.
After the sunset, we left deception pass and went to a Bamboo Bistro– a Thai restaurant in Anacotes. The environment, and the host were very welcoming and the foods were great. Then we had an amazing coffee at Sugar Mama Cafe and drove back home.
Hope you enjoyed reading the experience. Thanks!
